I purchased this item as a Christmas present for my sister. I loved the flowing, free-form look and the massive ruffle flower on this scarf, and knew she would appreciate it too. When I received this scarf in the mail, I was a bit disappointed because it did not travel well...It looked flattened and dispirited after its journey. I thought it might regain its shape after being out of it's packaging for awhile, but this didn't seem to help. I finally soaked it in warm water for a few minutes, then gently squeezed out the excess water and allowed it to air dry on a towel rack. My efforts paid off, and the scarf now looks as full and ruffly as the photo. I am not advocating you do this, but it seemed to work for me. This scarf is indeed long and can be comfortably worn in a variety of ways. I was hoping it would be as soft as another scarf that I also ordered from Dahlia which is a real pleasure to have against your skin. Unfortunately it is not nearly so inviting. Nevertheless, this item is really eye-catching and unique. Though not designed for extremely cold weather, its still quite cozy. Overall, I really like it and know my sister will too.

This scarf is absolutely beautiful. The quality is nice, the order arrived quickly and beautifully packaged. I am pleased with this purchase and will use this company again.

I bought this scarf for my mother's birthday. She absolutely loved the scarf, and she felt that it was really good quality. I thought it looked great on her, and it will compliment many outfits.

This scarf is much bigger (wider) in real life than it appears in the picture. It was a little scratchy, but mainly because there was "fishing line" sticking out in many different parts of the scarf, which then stick into the wearer. The good news is I returned it without any problems, the company handled the return really well. I have two other Dahlia scarves and love them both, so I think I just got a little unlucky.

This is much longer than I expected it to be (a good thing!) and is very beautiful. The construction isn't the best, but not anything that I regret, either.
