By remzi Product description is accurate. It has weight to it and feels sturdy. I wanted something that looked nice as jewelry and functioned as a safety whistle. This does both. The whistle is fairly loud for its size.
Dainty but makes a statement Sep 19, 2009
By Kathleen A. Farrell The small whistle pendant was perfect for my college bound daughter as it is dainty but capable of making some noise if she feels the need. The fact that it does not look like a ref's whistle, makes it all the more wearable. I always had a whistle pendant when I worked in the city years ago, then handed it to my younger sister when she started working in the city. We never needed to use it for the noise, but always got compliments on the design. This one brings back many memories and I know my daughter will get plenty of use out of it.
