 Not a hint of green in either jade piece May 06, 2011

What looked like green jade turned out not to be. Jade can mean many things and come in different colors. The ones I got are identical in color, almost quartz-looking dull white with no color variation. The design looks like the photos. The string-beaded necklace is alright, craft-looking. Others that saw what I got agreed that it doesn't meet expectations although the idea is excellent. Also, they're pretty cool and unique anyway. They go well with casual clothes. It would have been better if they had some green in them.

I bought these pendants for my fiance' and me because I wanted something that would intimately tie us together while I am overseas. Each time I look at this piece, it reminds me of the mystic tie that binds us together as lovers. These are simple, unique, and exquisite pieces that perfectly compliment each other. The milky white/green jade is beautifully carved as a phoenix on the woman's pendant, and a dragon on the man's pendant. the dragon piece comes with a dark brown cord, while the phoenix has a softer green cord. The materials and craftsmanship are apparent the moment they are removed from their box. I wear this piece everyday. It is a very well built piece, and I wear it without fear of it falling apart. If you are looking for something unique to share with your lover, this might be the set you are looking for.
